Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has delivered a worrying injury update on Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City at Anfield.

Both attackers were forced to withdraw from international duty, leaving their availability for the crucial fixture uncertain. Liverpool are also without Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni through injury.

Federico Chiesa could return, but his fitness remains uncertain, potentially leaving Iraola short of attacking options against the league leaders.

Victor Munoz and Rio Ngumoha could feature, while young forward Lewis Koumas may be handed a rare starting opportunity after impressing against Tottenham in the EFL Cup.

Liverpool remain unbeaten under Iraola, but their growing injury problems could complicate Sunday’s showdown.
