James Pearce reports that Giorgi Mamardashvili is likely to leave Liverpool next summer if Alisson remains at Anfield for the 2027/28 season.
Mamardashvili, who joined from Valencia for around £30m, has struggled to displace Alisson but impressed in the Carabao Cup win over Tottenham.
Pearce says the Georgian goalkeeper is unlikely to accept a third consecutive season as Alisson’s understudy, potentially paving the way for a summer exit.
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend John Aldridge has urged the club to offer Alisson a new contract, praising the Brazilian’s recent performances and questioning why his future remains unresolved.
