Liverpool face Brentford on Saturday at 3pm following their 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK, looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Manchester City.
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker is expected to start ahead of Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Defenders: Virgil van Dijk could return to partner Jeremy Jacquet at centre-back, while Ronald Araujo may move to right-back. Milos Kerkez could also replace Kostas Tsimikas at left-back.
Midfielders: With Ryan Gravenberch suspended and Dominik Szoboszlai potentially rested, Trey Nyoni could partner Alexis Mac Allister in midfield. Florian Wirtz is expected to continue in the No. 10 role.
Attackers: Victor Munoz could replace Rio Ngumoha on the right, while Bradley Barcola is likely to retain his place on the left after scoring a hat-trick against LASK. Lewis Koumas could lead the attack, with Alexander Isak’s fitness being carefully managed ahead of next week’s Champions League clash with Villarreal.
