THIAGO ALCANTARA TO REUNITE WITH LIVERPOOL? IRAOLA CONNECTION SPARKS SPECULATION
Liverpool fans have reason to keep an eye on Thiago Alcantara’s future after the former Reds midfielder recently met head coach Andoni Iraola at the AXA Training Centre.
The pair sat down for an in-depth conversation about football philosophy, coaching methods and Iraola’s vision for Liverpool. Their meeting has sparked speculation about a possible future role for Thiago within the club’s coaching setup.
Thiago, who retired from professional football in 2024, previously worked with Barcelona manager Hansi Flick as part of his coaching staff. His experience under some of football’s most respected managers could make him a valuable addition to Liverpool’s backroom team.
However, there is a significant obstacle. Thiago previously admitted that he did not have the coaching qualifications required to join Liverpool’s staff when the possibility was discussed earlier this year.
For now, there is no official confirmation that Thiago will become one of Iraola’s assistants. Nevertheless, his recent visit to Liverpool’s training ground has reignited discussions about a potential reunion.
Could Thiago return to Anfield and begin the next chapter of his football journey alongside Iraola?
