Manchester City are hopeful of having Matheus Nunes back this week as they prepare to face Brighton twice in four days.
Nunes has been recovering from an injury suffered against Ipswich, but Enzo Maresca confirmed he could return for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup clash. Iliman Ndiaye, meanwhile, was substituted against Aston Villa due to cramp and fatigue.
City will be looking to bounce back from their 2–1 defeat to Villa when they meet Brighton in the cup before Saturday’s Premier League rematch.
