Manchester City are reportedly considering Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi as potential January cover for Erling Haaland.
With Haaland currently lacking a natural backup, Enzo Maresca can use players like Phil Foden and Antoine Semenyo up front, but City could benefit from adding another recognised striker. Tresoldi, 22, has impressed this season, scoring 12 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions.
Reports claim City scouts were among several Premier League clubs watching Tresoldi, who recently scored a hat-trick. His finishing, physical strength, aerial ability and hold-up play make him an attractive option.
A young striker who can learn alongside Haaland could fit Cityβs recruitment strategy, making Tresoldi a player to watch ahead of the January window.
