Alex Scott transfer latest: Bournemouth resist January interest
Bournemouth have reportedly made it clear that Alex Scott will not be sold in January, despite interest from Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool.
The midfielder, who joined from Bristol City in 2023, has become an important part of Bournemouth’s plans thanks to his versatility, technical ability and Premier League experience. Manchester City have also been linked with the 22-year-old.
Scott’s contract runs until 2028, giving Bournemouth a strong position for now, while reports suggest the club are equally determined to keep other young talents such as Rayan and Junior Kroupi.
Bournemouth’s impressive progress, including their recent Europa League victory over AC Milan, has strengthened their desire to keep their key players and maintain their momentum.
However, with Chelsea and Liverpool expected to remain interested, Scott’s future could become a major transfer story next summer.
