🚨 Manchester City have officially lodged their appeal against the independent commission’s guilty verdict over serious Premier League financial breaches.
The commission found City guilty of using “sham” commercial contracts, concealing their finances and breaching spending rules, with alleged artificially inflated revenues of £830m.
City maintain their innocence and claim the verdict contains major errors of law and fact. Their appeal could potentially drag into 2027.
