Liverpool defender Jérémy Jacquet has reportedly suffered a minor hamstring injury ahead of France’s clash with Belgium.

The 21-year-old was rested as a precaution after feeling a strain in his left hamstring, with Leny Yoro replacing him in the starting XI.

Liverpool will hope Jacquet recovers in time for Sunday’s crucial clash with Manchester City.

Jacquet has been in excellent form for both club and country this season, making his fitness a major concern for Andoni Iraola.
