Jamie Carragher names Man City punishment after guilty verdict as Liverpool and Everton wait

Jamie Carragher believes Manchester City should face a multi-year punishment if their appeal against the Premier League financial breaches fails.

City were found guilty of inflating revenue by more than £830m between 2009-10 and 2017-18. Carragher argues that a one-season points deduction would not be enough and suggested a three-to-five-year punishment to properly reflect the length of the alleged breaches.

City have appealed the verdict, with sanctions still to be decided.
