Fabrizio Romano confirms that Chelsea are strongly interested in Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott and continue working with his representatives with a view to a transfer in 2027.
“Chelsea are not forgetting about Alex Scott,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
“They have him in mind as a target. Chelsea believe Scott is the ideal midfield player to add to the squad. His quality, English and homegrown.
“Chelsea are on it and in contact with people close to Scott!”
Romano mentions Liverpool are another club to watch after they were in contact with Scott’s camp in the summer.
However, Chelsea appear to be ahead in the race for the England international whose contract with Bournemouth expires in less than two years.
