Manchester City could unleash their strongest attack against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
After a lengthy international break, the Premier League returns with a huge clash at Anfield. Enzo Maresca may finally have his preferred attacking quartet available: Jeremy Doku, Antoine Semenyo, Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland.
Doku and Semenyo have benefited from rest, while Cherki should be ready despite his international workload. Haaland’s fitness remains the main concern, but if fit, he is expected to start.
Doku and Semenyo could also target Liverpool’s full-backs, Milos Kerkez and Ronald Araujo, with their pace and one-on-one ability potentially causing problems.
If City’s attacking quartet are all available and firing, they could be the difference-maker in what promises to be a dramatic clash at Anfield.
