Enzo Maresca has urged Manchester City to silence the criticism by winning games after their impressive 3-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Following the club’s guilty verdict over 115 Premier League financial charges, City faced a hostile reception from Liverpool supporters. However, Maresca insisted his team must focus on football rather than the controversy.

“The noise will always be there, so we need to learn how to deal with that,” he said, adding that winning matches was the best response.

Maresca also praised the club’s togetherness, with CEO Ferran Soriano and sporting director Hugo Viana attending the match. Erling Haaland echoed his manager’s comments, stressing the importance of staying mentally strong and united.

When asked about the timeline of City’s appeal, Maresca replied: “You cannot imagine how happy I am. I don’t care.”

City have now won all six of their Premier League matches, collecting 18 points to sit top of the table. Their attention now turns to their upcoming Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
