Despite Manchester City’s 4-2 Champions League defeat to PSG, 18-year-old Ayyoub Bouaddi impressed after coming on at half-time.
The Moroccan midfielder transformed City’s midfield with his energy, composure and passing accuracy, recording 93% pass accuracy, winning all his duels and making eight ball recoveries. He also assisted Erling Haaland’s second goal.
Haaland was so impressed that he commented “MAN OF THE MATCH” on Bouaddi’s Instagram post. The youngster’s outstanding performance could earn him a starting role under Enzo Maresca.
