Bradley Barcola has finally silenced his critics in spectacular fashion after producing a sensational hat-trick in Liverpool’s incredible 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK!
The French winger, who joined Liverpool from PSG for a reported €125 million this summer, had struggled to deliver goals and assists in his opening appearances. His slow start even had some fans questioning whether the club had spent too much money on him.
But Barcola chose the perfect moment to respond!
⚽ GOAL NUMBER ONE: In the 24th minute, Barcola showed his finishing instincts with a first-time effort inside the penalty area to put the ball into the back of the net.
⚽ GOAL NUMBER TWO: Just before half-time, he produced another excellent finish after linking up beautifully with Florian Wirtz, giving Liverpool fans a glimpse of what the pair could achieve together.
⚽ GOAL NUMBER THREE: In the 66th minute, Barcola completed his hat-trick by arriving at the right place to turn home Jeremie Frimpong’s low cross.
The achievement was even more special because it marked his first-ever career hat-trick and his first in a Liverpool shirt!
Liverpool supporters immediately flooded social media with excitement, with some comparing him to former Reds favourite Roberto Firmino.
One fan exclaimed, “Wow, we already have a new Roberto Firmino!”
Others celebrated his response to the criticism, praising his quality and declaring that he had finally arrived.
Meanwhile, some PSG supporters may already be wondering whether their club made a mistake by letting him leave.
Barcola’s performance will undoubtedly boost his confidence, while his promising combination with Wirtz has given Liverpool fans another reason to be excited.
However, the big question remains: Can Barcola maintain this incredible form in the Premier League and prove that Liverpool’s huge investment was worth it?
