Graeme Souness believes Andoni Iraola is the “right man” for Liverpool but insists the Spaniard must address several problems.

Souness criticised the performances of Florian Wirtz and raised concerns over the fitness of Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike, while admitting Liverpool’s summer signings have yet to meet expectations.

Despite Liverpool’s inconsistent start, the Reds legend believes Iraola’s attacking philosophy suits the club and insists the players, rather than the manager, are the main problem.
