Liverpool are unlikely to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott in January, despite their interest in strengthening the midfield.
The 22-year-old has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, but Bournemouth are reportedly demanding over £100 million to consider selling him.
Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola already knows Scott well from their time together at Bournemouth. However, the hefty price tag could force the Reds to wait until the summer, risking competition from Chelsea and other interested clubs.
