Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed how Manchester United missed the chance to sign Erling Haaland before his value skyrocketed.
Solskjaer urged United to sign the striker in 2018 after working with him at Molde, but the club rejected the opportunity.
He later recommended Haaland again when his €20m release clause was available, but United failed to act. By the time he began scoring for RB Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus had joined the race, with his release clause rising to €60m.
