Ipswich Town goalkeeper Christian Walton has backed his team to frustrate Manchester City ahead of their Premier League clash.
Walton praised Erling Haaland as an outstanding striker and described City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as one of the best in the world.
He also dismissed concerns surrounding City’s 114 financial charges, insisting they would not affect Ipswich’s preparations.
Despite City being favourites, Walton believes Ipswich can deliver a strong performance, highlighting the squad’s confidence after winning three league games.
He added that Ipswich’s strong start was no surprise, crediting their quality signings, preparation and the manager’s demands.
