🚨 Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has ruled out a January move for Liverpool star Florian Wirtz, despite praising the German international’s talent.
Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for around ÂŁ116m in 2025 but has struggled to replicate his previous form, registering five goals and three assists in his first Premier League season.
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, however, believes the 22-year-old can turn things around, blaming his struggles on a lack of confidence and the pressure of his price tag.
Gerrard also compared Wirtz’s situation to Philippe Coutinho, who blossomed after struggling early in his career. 🔴
