Andy Robertson has revealed a fascinating difference between Jürgen Klopp and Arne Slot at Liverpool.
According to Robertson, Klopp was focused on Liverpool imposing its own style, while Slot placed much greater emphasis on statistics, data and adapting to the opposition.
Klopp’s mindset was essentially: “If we do this, nobody can match us.” Slot, meanwhile, was more about studying opponents and preparing different tactical responses.
Robertson also highlighted how heavily Slot relied on data, with training loads, sprints and physical output constantly monitored.
Two managers, two very different philosophies — Klopp wanted Liverpool to be Liverpool, while Slot wanted Liverpool to become whatever was needed to beat the team in front of them. 🔴
