Manchester City midfielder Elliot Anderson believes he and his teammates can expect hostile atmospheres at almost every Premier League away ground for the rest of the 2026/27 season.
City have faced growing backlash following the financial-rule verdict against the club, with hostile receptions already reported at Liverpool and Aston Villa.
Despite the pressure, Anderson says the team is prepared for the treatment, joking: “Everywhere we go, we’ll get it!”
City’s next challenge comes against Brighton in the Carabao Cup before the two sides meet again in the Premier League, followed by a Champions League trip to RB Leipzig and an away clash with Nottingham Forest.
