Liverpool are reportedly serious about signing Mexican wonderkid Gilberto Mora, with Fabrizio Romano confirming growing interest from top European clubs.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has impressed for Tijuana and Mexico, scoring five goals in seven games this season. Liverpool have already made contact with his representatives and are viewed as a leading Premier League contender, although Real Madrid and Barcelona are also monitoring him.
Romano described Mora as a “special” talent and one of the best young midfield prospects around, with clubs now assessing his price and the possibility of bringing him to Europe in January.
Mora turns 18 later this month and is expected to command a record-breaking Liga MX transfer fee.
