Liverpool are reportedly interested in Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal, with manager Andoni Iraola said to be a big admirer of the 19-year-old.
Barcelona currently have no desire to sell Bernal, who is contracted until 2029, but his future will be reviewed next summer.
With limited playing time behind Pedri, Gavi, De Jong and Rodri, Bernal could push for an exit if his situation does not improve.
A permanent transfer could become possible if he asks to leave, with Liverpool and Atletico Madrid monitoring him.
