🚨 Liverpool face a huge Mamardashvili decision as Alisson contract uncertainty grows

Liverpool could soon face a major dilemma over their goalkeeping future. Alisson’s contract reportedly expires next summer, with no new talks yet underway.

According to James Pearce, if Liverpool extend Alisson’s stay, Giorgi Mamardashvili could decide to leave in 2027 rather than spend another season as the Brazilian’s understudy.

Mamardashvili joined Liverpool in 2025 and is expected to eventually challenge for the No.1 spot, but regular football could become increasingly important for the Georgia international.

Liverpool also have young goalkeepers such as Lucca Brughmans, Vitezslav Jaros and Armin Pecsi in their plans, giving the club plenty of options for the future.

The big question is simple: does Liverpool keep Alisson or make room for Mamardashvili to become the long-term No.1?
