🚨 Van Dijk FIRES BACK at Dutch journalist after brutal criticism
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk appeared to lose patience with Dutch journalist Valentijn Driessen during a fiery press conference.
Van Dijk strongly rejected claims that he was responsible for the Netherlands switching to a back five and hit back at criticism of his leadership after their disappointing World Cup campaign.
The Liverpool defender called the accusations “utter nonsense” and said claims that he had damaged Dutch football were completely baseless.
The tense exchange eventually had to be stopped by the KNVB press officer.
