Liverpool face growing uncertainty over Virgil van Dijk’s future, with Juventus reportedly becoming the latest European giant to show interest in the defender.
The 35-year-old is entering the final season of his Liverpool contract and could leave Anfield as a free agent next summer if no new deal is agreed.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a Juventus emissary linked to Luciano Spalletti recently watched Van Dijk during the Netherlands’ 1-1 draw with Germany, with the club also monitoring Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey.
Juventus are reportedly considering Van Dijk as a potential option if Gleison Bremer leaves, while Real Madrid and AC Milan have also been linked with the Liverpool captain.
With Van Dijk still performing at a high level and continuing his Netherlands career, interest in his signature could intensify if he becomes available for free.
